The 5C Centre was founded in 1991 and based at the historical crossroads of international trade and intercultural exchange in Zug, Switzerland.

It was originally known as the "5C Institute for Cross-Cultural Communication & Conflict Conciliation AG". This name was changed in 2006 in order to reflect the firm's further specialisation and its focus on the conciliation of conflicts, primarily cross-cultural ones.

Today, under the name of its founder Stuart D.G. Robinson (see link to Stuart's PERSONAL PROFILE below), we offer an extended range of highly specialised services through our network of specialists, who have their professional backgrounds in aesthetics, ethics, law, medicine, psychiatry, psychology & sociology plus certain technical fields such as IT, AI and robotics.

In particular, we work very closely with BBV CONSULTANCY in Lucerne and Zurich, ESSENTIS in Lucerne, INSIDE.CO in Geneva and SWISSELECT in Bern.

In addition to our services in ETHICAL & DIGITAL FOOTPRINTING, ETHICAL ASSESSMENTS/AUDITS, ETHICAL HEALTH MANAGEMENT and the education of CHIEF ETHICS OFFICERS, we are particularly well-known for "packing our bags", taking on interim-management functions and trouble-shooting from inside multinationals, joint-ventures, strategic alliances.

We address highly sensitive and confidential situations on an intra- and
international level.

We continue to help people with personal crises and problems in their families, partnerships and marriages.

Since 1997 we have developed a further specialised service for people with serious health symptoms of a mental-emotional nature which are so often linked to crisis, dissonance and distress. Experience shows that our approach enables people to identify the true roots of their mental-emotional condition very fast and accurately and then to resolve it to their great relief. This service includes helping many of them to stop medication which they have been taking for years.

From 1991 onwards, we have been educating many hundreds of people through:

• training and developing intercultural, interethical specialists;
• training, coaching and the supervision of intercultural and interethical mediators;
• preventive work to sensitise managers, employees and students through workshops, seminars, lectures and articles on intercultural, interethical and anethical issues.

Throughout the years, we have retained our philosophical and financial independence. Our clients range from large and small corporations to political institutions, administration departments, not-for-profit organisations and private individuals. Fee-structures are always agreed in accordance with the financial means of the parties concerned.
